Harris & Helwig offers mediation services for civil cases in State and Federal Courts, as well as for matters that are not filed in any court.

Peter Helwig is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to serve as a court-appointed mediator in civil cases in the Circuit Courts of the State of Florida. He is also certified by the U.S. District (federal) Court for the Middle District of Florida to serve as a court-appointed mediator in cases filed in that Court.

We do not offer mediation services in family law cases, which require a separate certification.

Mediation sessions may be conducted at our office at 6700 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland, or at a location of your choice.

Our office features a conference room which seats eight people comfortably, and additional space for break-out rooms as needed. It is handicapped-accessible and has free parking. There is no charge for the use of our office for mediation.
